Answer: Use Dr. John’s ICT Homework SmartCard with your students!!
What is a home work smartcard?
The home work smartcard is a personal learning approach to ICT capability for learners 7 to 80+ years. The size of a credit card for easy use. It covers Word Processing, SpreadSheets, Databases, Multimedia, E-mail and many other areas and includes ICT guides to help. The SmartCard gives the student clear learning targets and keeps a record of their personal achievements.
How does it work?
A teacher sets the homework and the student takes their SmartCard home to use on their home PC. The Smartcard works on any PC. Students practice ICT skills and capabilities to enable them to integrate ICT into their projects and school work. It includes ICT Step by step guides on the card to support the students learning when they get ‘stuck’! The students can also track their own development using the assessment window the card produces on the computer they are working with. It’s a motivator for students as well as a support for ICT learning. The Smartcard offers no risk to virus protection between Home and School.
What can I use it for?
The SmartCard will have a major impact on your students learning in a variety of ways.
